What You’ll Actually Do
Process Records: Efficiently process a high volume of medical record requests in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all incoming requests are handled accurately and promptly.
Ensure Confidentiality: Strictly abide by all HIPAA guidelines, maintaining the utmost confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI) at all times to protect patient privacy and organizational integrity.
Manage Timelines: Consistently adhere to a demanding schedule by ensuring all assigned medical record requests are processed within a tight 24-48 hour window from the moment of receipt, supporting critical client operations.
Monitor and Report: Proactively monitor incoming requests received through various channels, assessing request volume and providing valuable feedback on perceived issues or potential bottlenecks to the Processing Manager.
Support Team: Provide essential assistance in overflow processing situations, stepping in due to high volume issues or coverage requirements, and contribute to general office duties to ensure smooth departmental operations.
