Praktikant (Intern) | RÖDL USA

This role is crucial for gaining practical experience and contributing to client support in an international professional environment within the US. The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: 6-month long commitment
• Location: In-person, multiple US locations including Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, Boston, MA, Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL, Cincinnati, OH, Detroit, MI, Denver, CO, Greenville, SC, Houston, TX, Manhattan, NY, and Philadelphia, PA.
• Pay: $20–$32 hourly
• Team: Interdisciplinary team, with oversight from managers and seniors
• Mission: Provide practical insights and experience in international accounting, auditing, and tax projects for foreign-owned US subsidiaries.
• Tech Stack: ProSystems Engagement, Microsoft Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Gain practical experience across all areas of US and German auditing and tax consulting.
• Participate in training sessions covering various topics, including ProSystems Engagement, Microsoft Excel, preparation of bank reconciliations, cash audits, and tax estimates.
• Collaborate within a high-performing and interdisciplinary team, contributing to an international work environment.
• Work on challenging tasks within an international context, supporting accounting, auditing, and tax projects.
• Serve US subsidiaries of foreign-owned companies, primarily German-speaking and European family businesses across diverse industries.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student with at least three semesters of economics studies, specifically focusing on international accounting, auditing, and/or taxes.
• Experience: First theoretical and/or practical experience in accounting and/or taxes.
• Skills: Fluent German and English communication skills, both written and verbal; a strong commitment to performance, self-initiative, high quality awareness, good analytical abilities, and enjoyment of teamwork.
• Bonus: Experience from internships abroad and additional professional qualifications are advantageous.
