Finance Intern | DuPont
The Tone:
This is an internship at DuPont. DuPont’s purpose is to empower the world with essential innovations to thrive, working on critical areas from clean water to essential materials for technology and global worker protection. This role provides an excellent development opportunity within DuPont Finance, allowing interns to learn the monthly reporting process, participate in process improvement projects, and support complex business decisions. Interns will gain first-hand exposure to a professional corporate office environment, preparing them for a career in finance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Analyze business performance and forecasts to ensure timely and insightful reporting that meets objectives.
• Improve: Participate in process improvement projects, driving simplification and standardization across work streams.
• Support: Provide financial support for complex business decisions through data mining and trend analysis.
• Learn: Gain hands-on experience with various business software and systems applications.
• Engage: Participate in special activities, professional presentations, and networking opportunities for summer interns.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university, pursuing an academic major in Finance or Accounting. Rising Seniors or rising Juniors preferred.
• Experience: Understanding of finance and accounting concepts and principles.
• Skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency; Financial information research and analysis; Strong communication skills.
• Bonus: Minor in MIS or double majors; GPA of 3.0 or greater preferred; SAP experience.
