Behavioral Management Coordinator | Aspire of Western New York

The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Collaborate with clinical staff to develop behavior plans for individuals requiring behavioral supports.
• Monitor: Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of behavior plans in residences.
• Coordinate: Work with community providers to monitor medications for individuals.
• Report: Develop and maintain data and measurement systems for reporting progress on behavioral supports.
• Train: Conduct in-service training for agency staff on behavior plans and related topics.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a human services field. This role is an entry-level opportunity to expand interest and skills in behavioral and psychological arenas.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of direct care experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (ID/DD), including the implementation of Behavior Support Plans, with a Bachelor’s degree. Alternatively, an Associate’s degree requires a minimum of three years of experience, or a High School Diploma with a minimum of five years of direct care experience.
• Skills: Ability to develop, monitor, and implement Behavior Support Plans; experience with data and measurement systems for progress reporting; proficiency in conducting in-service training; and capability to coordinate with community providers.
