What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Entry: Enter and verify claims information, supporting documentation, and healthcare records with a high degree of accuracy.
• Document Review: Review claims forms and related documents to ensure data is complete, accurate, and compliant with established procedures.
• Information Security: Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive healthcare and member information.
• Performance Management: Meet established productivity, quality, and accuracy standards while managing daily workloads.
• System Utilization: Utilize multiple systems and Microsoft Office applications to support claims processing and operational objectives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or GED required, with core domain knowledge in data entry, administrative support, claims processing, or healthcare operations.
• Experience: Minimum two years of experience in data entry, administrative support, claims processing, healthcare operations, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong typing and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments in a remote environment.
