Junior Campaign Manager | SuperAwesome

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at SuperAwesome, located in New York, NY. This role is critical for managing the end-to-end delivery of paid media campaigns, ensuring high-quality client experiences while immersing yourself in the programmatic advertising ecosystem. What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordinate Campaign Launches: Build implementation documents, ensure accurate trafficking with partners, and meticulously QA all setups for accuracy.
• Manage Campaign Performance: Monitor daily delivery across a portfolio of campaigns, ensuring pacing, client performance metrics, and target margins are met.
• Optimize Live Campaigns: Conduct daily checks and execute standard optimizations across various advertising platforms, pivoting strategies when performance deviates.
• Troubleshoot and Report: Investigate delivery issues, tracking discrepancies, or technical bugs, learning to navigate the ad tech stack to identify root causes and surface pacing and performance observations.
• Support Inventory and Learning: Coordinate and organize SuperAwesome’s inventory and deal setup while continuously absorbing campaign learnings and programmatic plays to improve workflows.

The Must-Haves
• Background: 1–2 years of experience in programmatic media buying, ad operations, or a highly analytical entry-level media role; strong internships in ad tech or media agencies will be considered.
• Experience: Hands-on experience with DSPs such as DV360, The Trade Desk, Beeswax, or Google Ads, demonstrating familiarity with the digital advertising ecosystem.
• Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaign timelines simultaneously, comfortable communicating clearly and professionally with clients, foundational understanding of digital ad formats (e.g., VAST, HTML5) and tracking methodologies.
• Data Fluency: Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, including comfort pulling reports, manipulating data, and calculating performance metrics with an inquisitive, action-oriented execution mindset.
