Associate, Activation | Omnicom Media

The Tone:
This is an entry-level, media-based role at OMnet LLC, a Strategic Business Unit within Omnicom Media. OMnet specializes in principal-based media investments and buying, creating a private ecosystem of cost-effective, data-driven media solutions exclusively for Omnicom clients. The Associate will support client advertising campaigns across a wide range of media disciplines, gaining a foundational understanding of the modern media landscape and marketplace trends. This role is crucial for delivering effective media solutions and maintaining campaign performance for a diverse roster of client accounts.

• Team: Assigned to a Team Pod within the OMnet Activation Division, supporting a Senior Associate and larger team.
• Mission: Support client advertising campaigns by researching, strategizing, negotiating, buying, and stewarding media across multiple disciplines.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support and manage client advertising campaigns across diverse media disciplines, including Digital, Linear TV, Streaming/CTV, Social, OOH, Audio, and Print.
• Execute media buys by researching, strategizing, negotiating, and stewarding media for assigned client accounts.
• Manage financial aspects of campaigns, including issuing insertion orders, maintaining campaign performance, and reconciling billing.
• Evaluate sales-side offerings utilizing proprietary research tools and industry knowledge to support client business.
• Coordinate media plan implementation and contracts with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, communications, economics, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Fluent user of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Skills: Aptitude for mathematical concepts, solutions-oriented mindset with creative thinking, knowledge of the modern media/advertising landscape, good verbal and written communication, strong listening skills, and excellent presentation skills.
• Bonus: Experience in account and/or client management.
