The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Pay: $57 hourly
• Team: Governance and Experience team of e-commerce
• Mission: Design and implement algorithms to detect and control risks and frauds across e-commerce content, products, sellers, and creators.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Algorithm Design: Work with a team to design and implement algorithms specifically for detecting and controlling risks and frauds in e-commerce content, products, sellers, and creators.
• Product Collaboration: Collaborate with strategy, product management, policy, and operations teams to help define products and drive initiatives from an engineering perspective.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a PhD degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience: An understanding or keen interest in machine learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or computer vision.
• Skills: Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, Python, Go, or Java.
• Bonus: Interest or experience in anti-fraud, anti-spam, or platform-integrity fields; a profound sense of responsibility; exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
