Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern | In De Goot Entertainment

The Tone:
This is a paid internship at In De Goot Entertainment, located in New York City, NY, operating on a hybrid schedule. In De Goot, launched in 1993, is a premiere promotions and management company that oversees the careers of artists across rock, alternative, and pop genres. This role is crucial for supporting the marketing team in managing the digital presence and promotional efforts for a diverse roster of artists.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Management: Assist in creating and managing content for various social media platforms.
• Analytics & Reporting: Report on online analytics for artist pages, music, and digital campaigns using social media insights.
• Tour Promotion: Schedule tour dates on platforms like BandsInTown, Songkick, and Seated, and geo-target social posts for individual tour markets.
• Marketing Support: Organize tour content, assist in day-to-day marketing initiatives, and engage with online communities to encourage engagement and ticket sales.
• Research & Creation: Conduct market research to identify social trends and opportunities, and assist in social media video editing and content creation for artists.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student with a passion for Rock and Alternative music.
• Experience: In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and trends, with basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics.
• Skills: Excellent written communication skills, a creative mindset, self-motivated, proactive, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficient in photo and video editing, specifically with Photoshop, Capcut, or Canva.
• Bonus: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
