This is an internship at reval, a social planning app operating remotely. reval is designed to help friends effortlessly discover shared activities, make spontaneous plans, and adapt when those plans inevitably change. The company’s name, derived from “re-evaluate,” underscores the reality that the best nights rarely go entirely as planned. Through reval, users can create “moves,” join live plans, share moments, and even “reval” plans when a group decides on something different, fostering real-world social coordination for everything from casual meals to exploring a city. This Social Media & Brand Lead role is a unique opportunity to directly help grow reval’s presence across key platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, contributing significantly to a consumer startup at an early stage.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategy & Execution: Assist with the strategic planning and tactical execution of reval’s social media presence, developing comprehensive plans across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
• Content Creation: Generate, produce, and schedule a variety of engaging content for social platforms, specifically developing short-form video ideas and other creative content concepts tailored to each audience.
• Community Engagement: Proactively engage with reval users and cultivate a vibrant online community by responding to comments, managing direct messages, and initiating community interactions across all social platforms.
• Trend Monitoring & Analysis: Continuously monitor current social media trends, popular memes, and emerging platform opportunities, then utilize this insight to inform content creation and assist in tracking key engagement metrics and overall growth performance.
• Marketing & Growth Collaboration: Work directly with the founder to contribute to marketing initiatives, upcoming product launches, and brand development efforts, offering creative ideas for user acquisition and fostering community growth.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student or recent graduate with an interest in social media, marketing, branding, communications, or content creation.
• Experience: Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn, along with an ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Skills: Strong written communication skills, a creative mindset, and an understanding of Gen Z culture and social trends.
• Bonus: Experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar content creation tools.
