As an Associate Financial Planner, you will be an integral part of the client experience, going beyond just technical tasks to directly ensure clients receive clarity and dedicated follow-through. • Tech Stack: Excel, CRM, Financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro), Portfolio management tools.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Plan Development: Construct and meticulously maintain comprehensive financial plans, ensuring all data is accurate and reflects the client’s current goals and objectives.
• Portfolio Management: Provide support in the construction, diligent monitoring, and strategic rebalancing of investment portfolios.
• Client Meeting Support: Actively participate in specific client meetings, offering essential technical support, capturing detailed notes, and accurately documenting key decisions.
• Post-Meeting Action Item Management: Take full ownership of all post-meeting follow-up, ensuring administrative and technical action items are executed promptly and clearly communicated to the client.
• Technical Research: Conduct thorough research on specific planning strategies, tax implications, and various investment options to effectively support the Lead Planner.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An undergraduate degree is a fundamental requirement.
• Experience: Prior experience in a Financial Planning or Associate Planner role is considered ideal but is not a prerequisite for this position. Candidates must either hold active securities licenses (Series 7 & 65/66) or demonstrate a willingness to successfully accomplish all required licensing within six months of hire.
• Skills: Strong command of Excel and other relevant technology tools is essential. The role demands exceptional organizational skills coupled with a “zero-error” mindset for data entry and meticulous meeting documentation. Additionally, the ability to clearly distill complex financial concepts into concise, actionable notes and client correspondence is critical.
• Bonus: Progress toward or successful achievement of the CFP® designation is a significant advantage.
