Sales & Marketing (Growth) Intern | Starbeam

The Tone:
This is a Sales & Marketing (Growth) Internship at Starbeam, located remotely with required in-person meetings with your campus team. Starbeam is an AI-powered wellness startup currently in stealth mode, focused on preparing society for the disruptive social upheavals that AI will soon unleash. This role is crucial for launching Starbeam’s free agentic AI consumer app across US college campuses, and subsequently supporting the rollout of enterprise AI services to businesses.

• Team: National network of Starbeam interns, forming campus GTM teams at larger schools
• Mission: Drive sign-ups for Starbeam’s consumer app on college campuses and support its expansion to businesses
• Tech Stack: AI tools, HubSpot sales and marketing

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Creation: Create and customize sales presentations and scripts leveraging AI tools.
• Market Research: Identify influencers and leaders through web research and social media.
• Database Management: Populate and manage CRM databases and prospect profiles.
• Relationship Building: Utilize warm and cold outreach strategies to build and maintain relationships with student organizations, club leaders, and social media influencers.
• Brand Representation: Represent Starbeam through content creation, including short-form video, social media posts, and written features in campus media.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A current college student majoring in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Communications, or related fields; high school students demonstrating extraordinary interest may also be considered.
• Experience: Able to commit a minimum of 5 hours per week for a minimum 2-month commitment.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills (without relying on AI for generation), strong interpersonal skills, and an interest in sales and marketing as a possible career path.
