Marketing Coordinator | Neighborhood Energy

This is an entry-level, remote Marketing Coordinator role, with a critical requirement for the candidate to reside within a 50-mile radius of Manchester, NH, and be willing to travel for events. This position is vital for expanding the company’s presence across digital channels and within the local business community as Neighborhood Energy continues its growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in building and maintaining the firm’s marketing efforts.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategize Digital Presence: Develop, implement, and manage Neighborhood Energy’s comprehensive social media strategy to expand brand awareness and engage target audiences effectively.
• Create Engaging Content: Design and produce compelling digital content, including posts, updates, and materials, suitable for various social media platforms and other marketing channels.
• Represent the Brand: Act as a confident and professional ambassador for Neighborhood Energy at various networking events and business gatherings across New England, fostering community relationships.
• Build Marketing Infrastructure: Contribute actively to the ongoing building and maintenance of Neighborhood Energy’s overall marketing presence and brand identity.
• Expand Market Reach: Drive initiatives to expand the company’s reach across digital channels and deepen its engagement within the local business community.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience. This is an ideal early-career opportunity for a recent graduate or a professional looking to start in marketing.
• Experience: Demonstrated familiarity and practical understanding of various social media platforms and commonly used digital marketing tools.
• Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities for clear and persuasive messaging; an outgoing personality with the confidence to network and represent the company professionally; and the capacity to be self-motivated, organized, and effective working independently in a remote environment. Willingness to travel to networking events throughout New England is also essential.
