Entry-Level Project Manager | Epic

The Tone:
This is a full-time Entry-Level Project Manager role at Epic, requiring relocation to the company’s campus in Madison, WI, with financial relocation assistance provided. Epic develops and implements cutting-edge software solutions designed to improve patient care and save lives within top-ranked healthcare organizations across the US and globally, including major systems like Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins. This position is vital for driving impactful projects, leading software installations, and ensuring the successful adoption of Epic’s technology by new customers. Project Managers directly contribute to the success of leading health systems by presenting to hospital leadership, coordinating end-user training, and providing comprehensive support, thereby enhancing healthcare delivery.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Drive: Lead impactful projects to improve patient care by implementing Epic software within healthcare organizations.
• Install: Travel across the US, and potentially abroad, to lead software installations and ensure the success of new Epic community members.
• Present: Utilize project management skills to communicate effectively with hospital leadership on project progress and strategies.
• Coordinate: Organize and facilitate end-user training to prepare healthcare providers for successful software adoption.
• Support: Provide comprehensive assistance and guidance to healthcare providers during the critical go-live phase of Epic software implementation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree or greater is required, with candidates from any major being considered for this role.
• Experience: Candidates must demonstrate a history of academic and professional success; prior software experience is not a prerequisite for this position.
• Skills: Possess project management capabilities to navigate complex software implementations; willingness to travel extensively (25-60% of working days, with typical trips lasting 2-4 days, 1-2 times per month); legally eligible to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship; commitment to relocate to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance reimbursed); and adherence to COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
