Rehabilitation Aide | Athens Orthopedic Clinic
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Athens Orthopedic Clinic, located in Athens, GA. The clinic provides essential rehabilitation services, and this position is fundamental to maintaining the operational readiness, cleanliness, and efficiency of the treatment environment. The Rehabilitation Aide works directly under the supervision of the Clinical Team Lead, playing a critical role in supporting therapists and ensuring patients receive care in a well-organized, hygienic, and safe setting. This role is integral to the smooth daily functioning of the rehabilitation clinic and contributes directly to patient comfort and recovery.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Equipment Management: Responsible for the daily cleaning, maintenance, and safe securing of all rehabilitation equipment, ensuring treatment areas remain neat and clean at the end of each day.
• Patient Modality Application: Actively support patient treatment by floating on the clinic floor, applying and removing ice using GameReady machines throughout the day, and setting up other modalities like heat or electric stimulation as directed by therapists.
• Linen and Infection Control: Maintain a high standard of hygiene by managing all linen, ensuring it is neat, clean, and changed after each patient, while rigorously following infection control policies for handling used materials.
• Clinic Supply Chain: Manage the full inventory, ordering, and receiving of all supplies for the rehabilitation clinic, ensuring gym areas are consistently stocked for patient care and communicating updates to part-time aides.
• Daily Operational Readiness: Complete all tasks outlined on the Aide Checklist daily and provide assistance to front desk specialists as needed to ensure the smooth, continuous operation of the clinic.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Proficient with Microsoft Office software, specifically Word and Outlook.
• Skills: Good communication, strong organizational abilities, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
