• Mission: To deliver crucial on-site support during weddings and special events, facilitating seamless event execution, excellent client service, effective vendor coordination, and precise wedding day logistics.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Event Execution Oversight: Provide comprehensive on-site support, working closely with Lead Planners to ensure the flawless execution of wedding days and various special events. This includes assisting with the strategic placement of décor and diligently overseeing specific event details as directed.
• Venue Logistics & Setup: Play a vital role in the physical preparation of event spaces, helping to meticulously set up ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception areas in strict accordance with event plans. Subsequently, assist actively with the efficient breakdown of events, including the careful packing of décor, gifts, and personal items.
• Timeline & Vendor Coordination: Actively support the management of wedding timelines, working to ensure that all scheduled activities and transitions remain precisely on track. This also involves welcoming and providing assistance to various vendors upon their arrival, during their setup, and throughout their breakdown processes.
• Wedding Party & Guest Services: Contribute to the smooth flow of the event by assisting with the organization and precise coordination of the wedding party. Additionally, provide attentive assistance to guests, courteously answering their questions and addressing any needs that arise throughout the event.
• Operational Troubleshooting & Professionalism: Help proactively troubleshoot and resolve minor issues as they emerge during events, while also supporting the seamless integration of any last-minute changes. Throughout all interactions and tasks, consistently represent Leigh & Co. Events with the utmost professionalism and a positive demeanor.

• Experience: No specific prior work experience is explicitly required, as this internship is designed to provide comprehensive training and invaluable hands-on experience directly alongside seasoned planners at live events.
• Skills: The essential ability to work weekends is critical; strong communication skills are a must, coupled with a highly detail-oriented approach; dependable and reliable transportation is necessary; and candidates must possess the physical capability to comfortably carry and lift up to 30 lbs.
