The Tone:
This is a project internship at TikTok, with a likely location in Los Angeles, CA. The Global Monetization Product & Technology (GMPT) team at TikTok is responsible for building advanced advertising technologies and platforms. These platforms enable brands and businesses to effectively connect with audiences across the globe, spanning backend targeting signals, ad measurement infrastructure, and creative tools for advertisers. In this role, the HRBP Project Intern will contribute to scaling a high-impact organization by assisting with various department activities and supporting critical talent-related programs. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical, real-world professional experience within a work environment that moves quickly.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Organize Department Activities: Assist in the planning and execution of various department activities, including management seminars, all-hands business meetings, and team-building events, ensuring smooth operations for the GMPT team.
• Manage Daily Administration: Handle daily administrative tasks for the department, which includes comprehensive workspace management and optimizing desk allocation to align with evolving business needs.
• Support Talent Programs: Aid in the implementation of talent-related programs such as talent reviews, training initiatives, and workshops, contributing to the development and retention of world-class talent.
• Analyze Program Data: Participate actively in the data analysis phase of talent programs, providing valuable insights that will inform future optimizations and strategic decision-making for the team.
• Complete Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake additional administrative or project-based tasks as assigned by the business team, demonstrating adaptability and a readiness to support broader organizational goals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or a higher academic program. Preferred fields of study include Human Resources Management, Sociology, Psychology, or other related disciplines.
• Experience: Must be able to commit to a minimum of a three-month-long internship period, gaining practical skills through on-the-job learning.
• Skills: Possesses logical thinking capabilities and excellent communication skills. Demonstrates self-reflection ability, a strong personal drive, an insistence on high standards, and sound judgment in professional tasks.
• Bonus: Shows enthusiasm for HR-related work and a desire to cultivate a long-term career in HR practice. Exhibits optimism when facing challenges, maintains a down-to-earth and pragmatic approach, and possesses a high degree of pressure resistance in a work environment.
