Cobb Summer 2026 Internship – North Carolina/South Carolina | Cobb

The Tone:
This is a seasonal internship at Cobb, primarily seeking candidates local to North Carolina or South Carolina. Cobb focuses on poultry production, and this role is crucial for developing future talent by immersing interns in various operational and support functions. Interns will contribute fresh perspectives and ideas, laying the groundwork for potential full-time roles within the company. Based on successful performance, interns may have the opportunity to become full-time Cobb Team Members.

• Location: In-person, with opportunities available in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina.

• Mission: Interns will work to become familiar with poultry production processes, gaining exposure to operations and support departments.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Work in a variety of poultry production positions to understand the various parts of the production process.
• Gain exposure to live operations roles within the company.
• Become familiar with operation support departments such as Safety and Quality Assurance.
• Contribute to the company’s success through innovative ideas and value creation.
• Potentially transition to a full-time Cobb Team Member based on successful performance and business talent needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with at least one semester of school remaining. Preferred fields are Agriculture, Poultry Operations, or other agriculture-related fields.
• Experience: Basic computer skills.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, motivated self-starter with a desire to learn, ability to work independently or as part of a team, strong problem-solving skills, time management and multitasking abilities, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Candidates considering further education after degree completion must highlight this on their resume for full consideration.
