Performance Marketing Analyst, Paid Social & Display | Etsy

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Etsy, located in Brooklyn, NY, requiring hybrid presence once or twice per week. This role supports the execution and optimization of low-funnel paid social and display campaigns, ensuring the right inventory is shown to the right shoppers at the right time to drive measurable growth.

• Team: Reports to the Performance Media Manager, Paid Social & Display on the Performance Marketing team within Brand Marketing.
• Mission: Supports the day-to-day management of paid social and display platforms that power Etsy’s low-funnel advertising, ensuring daily operations run efficiently.
• Tech Stack: Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Google Display Network, Excel/Google Sheets, SQL (plus), Looker (plus), Tableau (plus), UTM standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Campaign Management: Support building, launching, and QA-ing campaigns across paid social and/or display platforms, ensuring adherence to naming conventions, UTM standards, and creative guidelines.
• Product Feed Maintenance: Help manage large-scale product feeds and associated catalog sales campaigns, including identifying and partnering on fixes for feed or catalog issues.
• Performance Monitoring: Check platform dashboards and internal trackers to monitor budget pacing, delivery, and key performance metrics, and assist in root-causing and correcting anomalies.
• Optimization Contribution: Research and propose bid and budget adjustments to help campaigns hit efficiency and volume targets, and assist in updating audience structures, exclusions, and blocklists.
• Testing & Reporting: Help set up and track creative and audience tests, maintain test logs, and support reporting by pulling data exports and compiling simple summaries for team readouts and leadership updates.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. Foundational understanding in performance marketing, digital marketing, analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: 0–2 years of experience in performance marketing, digital marketing, or analytics; internships, co-ops, or project experience are welcome. Basic familiarity with paid social and/or display platforms is required.
• Skills: Comfort working with data in Excel/Google Sheets, strong quantitative skills with excitement to interpret performance data (e.g., ROAS, CPA/CAC, CTR, CVR, LTV), and a curious, problem-solving attitude.
• Bonus: Exposure to SQL or a BI tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
