Junior Strategy & Innovation Analyst | VITAS Healthcare

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Analysis: Collaborate with the team to gather, clean, and analyze data from various sources.
• Query Development: Learn and apply basic SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
• Report Generation: Assist in the development and maintenance of reports using tools such as Power BI.
• Documentation: Contribute to the documentation of data analysis processes and findings.
• Project Support: Utilize tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Power Platform to design, develop, maintain, and improve reports for stakeholders.
• Technology Implementation: Contribute to the implementation of new clinical technology platforms, collaborating across departments to prepare them for enterprise use.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field (economics, mathematics, statistics, finance) from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: One to two years of business and/or data analysis experience.
• Skills: Basic understanding of data analysis concepts, competency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel), interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Bonus: Beginner-level knowledge of SQL and Power Platform, project management skills, advanced degrees (MHA, MBA) or certifications, eagerness to learn new technologies, and the ability to learn quickly when facing new challenges.
