Analyst, Business Development | Rose & Company
The Tone:
This is a full-time entry-level role at Rose & Company, located in New York City. Rose & Company is a leading independent capital markets advisory firm that helps public companies broaden and deepen their institutional shareholder base. Through its proprietary platform, global institutional investors gain direct access to senior management teams across over 100 small- to mega-cap companies globally. This Analyst position is pivotal for supporting senior team members by proactively managing outreach initiatives, precisely coordinating prospect engagement, and diligently maintaining CRM data integrity. The role is instrumental in driving the firm’s overall business development efforts, offering substantial exposure to public company executives, investor relations professionals, and capital markets strategy, alongside clear opportunities for professional growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Outreach & Campaign Support: Support the execution of business development initiatives and comprehensive outreach campaigns across prospective corporate clients, preparing and tracking efforts throughout simultaneous campaigns.
• Prospecting: Conduct proactive outbound prospecting, including cold calls and strategic email outreach, with the goal of introducing Rose & Co.’s services and generating initial interest among potential corporate clients.
• CRM Data Management: Meticulously maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions, scheduled meetings, and current pipeline activity within the firm’s CRM systems to ensure data integrity.
• Meeting Coordination & Prep: Prepare tailored meeting preparation materials and detailed briefings for senior team members ahead of pitches, calls, and conferences. This includes scheduling meetings and coordinating communications with corporate executives and investor relations professionals.
• Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive support for various administrative duties, special projects, and general team needs as required.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of internship or professional experience in sales, business development, client service, investor relations, or financial services. Ability to conduct outbound prospecting via cold calling and email outreach.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professional and confident communication, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Bonus: Coursework or an interest in finance, economics, or business.
