Talent Acquisition Project Intern (E-Commerce) – 2026 Summer (BS/MS) | TikTok

The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, a company at the forefront of short-form mobile video. The E-commerce team specifically focuses on creating the entire commerce experience, connecting creators, sellers, and buyers globally through innovative technology for live shopping, product discovery, checkout, and logistics. This role is crucial for building the E-commerce organization by identifying, engaging, and attracting top technical talent, ensuring a welcoming experience for every potential hire.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Hiring: Support hiring managers and recruiters in English and Mandarin-speaking regions to understand technical requirements, define candidate profiles, and calibrate talent needs.
• Develop Sourcing Strategies: Assist in developing and executing sourcing strategies to build a pipeline of top-tier technical talent for critical roles, guided by experienced team members.
• Engage Candidates: Learn to identify and engage passive candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other technical communities.
• Refine Processes: Participate in refining sourcing processes and tools to boost efficiency, candidate quality, and the overall effectiveness of the hiring funnel.
• Support Projects: Support various talent acquisition projects, such as organizing virtual hiring events, gathering data for market intelligence reports, and assisting with diversity-focused sourcing initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Experience: Ability to commit to a 6-month full-time work period during 2026 Summer.
• Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, high motivation to learn about technical and non-technical recruitment.
• Bonus: Prior internship or project experience in HR or recruiting, familiarity with or interest in learning sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter or technical forums, an interest in the tech industry (Product Management, Design, Strategy, or Data Science roles), a data-driven mindset with willingness to learn how to use metrics.
