Editorial Intern, Art Market & Digital Publishing | Culturally Arts Collective

The Tone:
This is an unpaid internship at Culturally Arts Collective (CAC), a nonprofit international arts organization and publisher, based remotely or hybrid in London, Paris, or New York. CAC builds accessibility and representation in the arts through exhibitions, publications, and cultural programming, connecting emerging artists with collectors and institutions. This role is crucial for launching and shaping the voice of a new digital editorial platform focused on the global art market, providing interns with significant publication credits and industry exposure.

• Mission: Contribute original content and strategic ideas to shape the voice and coverage of a new digital editorial platform focused on the global art market.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Author original articles: Research and write pieces covering contemporary art market topics, including exhibitions, artists, collectors, galleries, and investment perspectives.
• Attend industry events: Represent Culturally Arts Collective at exhibition openings, gallery receptions, art fairs, and networking events in major art centers.
• Conduct interviews: Engage with artists, collectors, curators, dealers, and patrons to gather insights for editorial content.
• Analyze market trends: Examine secondary market performance, auction/gallery sales, collector sentiment, and market positioning to inform articles.
• Adapt content for digital channels: Transform written articles into engaging social media content to increase readership and brand visibility across platforms.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently studying or recently graduated in Art History, Journalism, Communications, Arts Management, Finance, Economics, Luxury Management, or a related field. Genuine interest in both contemporary art and the art market.
• Experience: Familiarity with galleries, museums, auctions, collecting, or cultural institutions. Comfortable networking and engaging professionally with collectors, patrons, artists, and industry stakeholders.
• Skills: Strong writing and research abilities. English fluency is required.
• Bonus: Understanding of topics such as provenance, valuation, collecting trends, and market performance is highly desirable. Experience creating content for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, or similar platforms. Preferred fluency in French, Spanish, or Russian.
