Entry-Level Project Manager | Epic

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Epic, located in Madison, WI, requiring relocation to the area. Epic builds software that saves lives and improves patient care within healthcare organizations globally. This position is vital for driving impactful projects, leading software installations, and ensuring the successful adoption of Epic’s solutions by new healthcare communities across the United States and potentially abroad. The role offers significant autonomy in decision-making while providing full support and guidance, contributing directly to better patient outcomes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Leadership: Drive impactful projects focused on improving patient care within healthcare organizations using Epic software.
• Implementation Travel: Travel across the US (and potentially abroad) as part of a team leading software installations for new customers.
• Stakeholder Communication: Present to hospital leadership to guide them through the software implementation process.
• Training Coordination: Coordinate end-user training to prepare healthcare providers for using Epic software.
• Go-Live Support: Provide comprehensive support to healthcare providers as they go live with Epic software, ensuring a smooth transition.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or greater in any major. This is an early career role.
• Experience: A history of academic and professional success is required; no prior software experience is necessary.
• Skills: Demonstrated project management skills, strong presentation abilities for hospital leadership, coordination skills for end-user training, and comprehensive support capabilities.
• Bonus: Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, typically involving 1-2 trips per month lasting 2-4 days. Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed). COVID-19 vaccination.
