Sales & Marketing (Growth) Intern | Starbeam
The Tone:
This is an internship at Starbeam, located remotely with required in-person meetings with your campus team to connect with student leaders. Starbeam is an AI-powered wellness startup currently in stealth mode, preparing society for the disruptive social upheavals that AI will soon unleash, including mass job displacement, negative health impacts, and an increase in mental illnesses. The company plans to be a dominant AI presence when it launches in Fall 2026. This role is vital for launching Starbeam’s free agentic AI consumer app on US college campuses, driving initial user sign-ups, and later supporting the rollout of enterprise AI services to mid-sized and large businesses. Interns will play a crucial role in building brand presence and fostering key relationships on campus during the soft launch in Summer 2026 and full rollout in Fall 2026.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Relationship Building: Utilize warm and cold outreach strategies to build and maintain relationships with student organizations, club leaders, and social media influencers at your school.
• Content & Brand Visibility: Represent Starbeam through creative content creation, including short-form videos, social media posts, and written features in campus media, while also writing online content to improve brand searchability when people look for AI tools.
• Sales Material Development: Create and customize compelling sales presentations and scripts for various outreach scenarios by leveraging AI tools.
• Prospect Management: Conduct web research and social media analysis to identify key influencers and leaders, then diligently populate and manage CRM databases and prospect profiles.
• Professional Development: Actively participate in free online courses to achieve professional certification in both AI tools and HubSpot sales and marketing platforms.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A current college student majoring in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Able to commit a minimum of 5 hours per week for at least 2 months, with a flexible schedule that adapts to academic demands.
• Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring originality and independence from AI content generation.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a proactive ability to make new connections and expand a professional network.
• A genuine interest in sales and marketing as a possible career path, open to exploring this professional domain.
• Capability to conduct web research and leverage social media for identifying influencers and leaders.
• Bonus: High school students who demonstrate an extraordinary level of interest in the internship and its mission will be considered.
