Intern – Predictive Sales Prospecting | Agilent Technologies

The Tone:
This is an internship at Agilent Technologies, located in Wilmington, DE. This program is designed to provide data analytics support for various initiatives across the Americas. This role is crucial for applying advanced analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and large language models (LLMs) to streamline sales enablement, improve sales productivity, and drive incremental revenue growth.

• Type: Full-time during summer (40 hours per week); part-time during the school year (10-20 hours per week)
• Location: In-person, Wilmington, DE
• Pay: $30–$32 hourly
• Mission: Identify and apply leading analytics tools and technologies, including AI and LLMs, to streamline sales strategies and improve revenue growth.
• Tech Stack: SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Tableau, Spotfire, QLIK, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Predictive Prospecting: Analyze customer and market data to identify high-value prospects and uncover new sales opportunities.
• AI Application: Apply AI, machine learning, and automation tools to enhance prospecting strategies and improve targeting accuracy.
• Insight Development: Develop data-driven insights to support decision-making for sales and marketing teams.
• Reporting & Strategy: Create reports and visualizations that clearly communicate insights and partner with teams to translate findings into actionable sales strategies.
• Tool Implementation: Utilize various analytics and business intelligence platforms to develop solutions, providing support and guidance on data tools to team members.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently in sophomore or junior year at an accredited university, pursuing a degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Experience: Foundational knowledge of programming languages and data analysis tools.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with complex datasets, clear written and verbal communication, and a collaborative mindset.
• Bonus: Desire to learn business automation tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps; strong interest in AI, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making in a business context.
