Marketing Strategist Intern | LXN Photography
The Tone:
This is an unpaid, remote internship at LXN Photography, a growing creative business specializing in visual storytelling through event, portrait, and wedding photography, currently expanding into wider client segments. As a key strategic partner, this role is crucial for guiding marketing initiatives, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting business expansion efforts. The intern will directly help shape the future growth of the company.

• Type: Part-time (5 to 20 hours per week)
• Location: Remote
• Team: Collaborates closely with Performance Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Marketing Designer, Branding, and Product Design interns.
• Mission: To guide marketing initiatives and support business expansion by ensuring all marketing efforts align with business goals, customer needs, and brand positioning.
• Tech Stack: Google Workspace, Notion, Airtable, Asana, Trello (or similar tools).
What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Direction: Lead strategic direction across multiple marketing teams to ensure all efforts align with business goals.
• Growth Planning: Develop strategic marketing recommendations and roadmaps to support business growth and new service launches.
• Audience Understanding: Conduct audience research to develop customer personas, analyze behaviors, and recommend improved customer experiences.
• Brand Development: Define and strengthen brand positioning, develop messaging, and ensure consistency across marketing channels.
• Market Insights: Analyze market trends, competitor positioning, and industry research to identify new business opportunities and present findings.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student or emerging professional with a strong interest in marketing strategy, business strategy, or digital marketing.
• Experience: No specific years required. Preferred experience includes marketing research and familiarity with digital marketing principles.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, strategic problem-solving, and a collaborative mindset.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Google Workspace or project management tools like Notion, Airtable, Asana, or Trello, and an interest in photography, events, or creative services.
