Social Media Intern | XGIMI Technology
The Tone:
This is a Social Media Intern position at XGIMI Technology, with a preferred location in Los Angeles, CA. XGIMI Technology has been redefining home entertainment since 2013, creating state-of-the-art home and portable projectors that bring cinema-quality viewing experiences to over 6 million households worldwide. This role is crucial for executing the company’s content strategy, producing engaging visual assets, and ultimately elevating XGIMI’s social media presence in the tech space through creative videography, photography, and editing.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Video & Photo Production: Ideate, script, shoot, and edit high-retention short-form content such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts that highlights XGIMI’s tech products.
• Post-Production & Editing: Deliver polished video and photo edits with strong pacing, clear storytelling, and visual techniques optimized for engagement.
• Social Strategy: Stay informed about platform algorithms, emerging formats, and industry trends to enhance the company’s social media approach.
• Content Creation: Produce engaging assets by utilizing skills in video editing, videography, and photography to support the team’s content goals.
• Team Collaboration: Assist the marketing team with various content creation tasks to support the overall content strategy.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student, with a genuine interest in technology, consumer electronics, or the broader tech space.
• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in social media or content creation across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, including hands-on experience with basic videography and photography, camera gear handling, and framing clean shots.
• Skills: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve; a solid understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual cuts; foundational knowledge of hook variations, thumbnail optimization, and how social media analytics inform creative decisions.
• Bonus: Comfortable working in a collaborative environment to meet content deadlines and support team goals.
