Software Development Intern | Sandhills Global

The Tone:
This is a Software Development Internship at Sandhills Global, located at the local office. Sandhills Global develops industry-leading software, primarily focused on web-based, data-driven applications for a variety of business needs. This role is designed for interns to learn modern tools and technologies, contribute to real-world software development, and gain practical experience in an agile environment. You will play a part in building applications that improve operational efficiency, develop services for customers, or enhance public websites visited by millions.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Maintain, upgrade, and create new software for business needs and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Train: Learn the specific modern tools, technologies, processes, and procedures utilized within Sandhills Global’s dedicated developer training department.
• Develop: Contribute to maintaining, upgrading, and creating new software solutions that address various critical business needs for the company.
• Implement: Apply learned skills to implement solutions across front-end web development, back-end business logic modifications, or database work as required.
• Collaborate: Integrate into a highly collaborative agile team, working closely with colleagues to develop and deliver real-world software applications.
• Impact: Work on projects designed to improve internal operational efficiency, build services that are sold to customers, or enhance public-facing websites.
