Marketing Intern | Bump Connect
The Tone:
This is an unpaid, remote internship position with a fully flexible schedule at Bump Connect, a next-generation social platform. Bump Connect is actively building an ecosystem where communities thrive, events turn social, products are discovered naturally, and content transforms into competition with real rewards—all designed around genuine engagement rather than algorithms. This role is central to a nationwide Campus Internship Program, positioning interns as official representatives and growth marketers. You will undertake significant responsibilities to build, lead, and grow tangible initiatives on your campus, directly shaping the launch, culture, and future of a high-potential social platform.

• Mission: Drive user growth, build communities, and create real-world experiences to enhance digital engagement for the Bump Connect platform on campuses.
What You’ll Actually Do
• User Acquisition: Drive user growth by recruiting 500 new users to actively join and consistently use the Bump Connect platform on your campus within the internship period.
• Community Development: Launch, strategically grow, and effectively maintain a goal of 10 active communities within the Bump Connect app during your internship duration.
• Event Creation & Promotion: Organize a minimum of 10 meetups, campus events, and gatherings, promoting them effectively through the Bump Tix feature on the platform.
• Partnership Expansion: Collaborate with diverse campus organizations, clubs, local bars, groups, and venues to influence and expand event postings promoted via Bump Tix.
• Competition Engagement: Actively participate in and strategically promote a goal of 8 of Bump Connect’s BVB competitions directly within the app during your internship term.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled as a freshman, sophomore, or junior college or university student, with an interest in marketing and entrepreneurship studies.
• Experience: Proven strong social presence or active involvement in campus organizations like clubs, Greek life, or athletics.
• Skills: Exhibits an entrepreneurial mindset, a self-starter attitude, and strong interpersonal communication skills for promoting ideas effectively.
