Lumelight Summer Intern (Business & Technology) | Lumelight

The Tone:

The role focuses on making processes more efficient, accurate, and scalable across the organization using AI and automation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Solutions: Identify inefficiencies using existing AI and business knowledge to apply AI-driven solutions that streamline processes, improve accuracy, and reduce manual effort.
• Analysis: Use AI and analytics platforms to analyze data, uncover actionable insights, and support faster, more informed business decisions.
• Tooling: Identify and test tools that enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and overall team productivity within the business.
• Optimization: Build or support practical solutions that optimize business processes and improve workflow execution.
• Documentation: Develop clear documentation, process guides, and playbooks that standardize and improve how work gets done.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student. Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, with an expected graduation date of May 2027 or later, pursuing a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated fluency in business concepts and proficiency in applied AI, with hands-on experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Power BI to support analysis, problem-solving, or process improvement.
• Skills: Ability to learn new tools quickly, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a self-starter with a problem-solving mindset.
• Bonus: An interest in technology-enabled business, data, and process improvement, combined with curiosity about how AI and automation can improve real-world work.
