The Tone:
This is a part-time, on-site internship at BeGenius Records, located in Atlanta, GA. BeGenius Records is an entertainment company based in Atlanta, GA, that provides comprehensive label and publishing services to artists, producers, and creatives across the music industry. The company boasts a significant track record, having collaborated with notable artists and producers such as ATL Jacob, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Ace Hood, and Serayah. This role is designed to offer students hands-on experience in the day-to-day execution of artist careers and real-world music business operations, directly contributing to artist development and music releases within a collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Artist Development: Directly support artist development initiatives, collaborating alongside artists and their management teams to foster their growth.
• Release Rollouts: Coordinate release timelines and assist with campaign execution, ensuring smooth and effective music project rollouts from development to launch.
• Project Management: Track project deliverables, support project planning, and help oversee the progression of all artist-related projects to meet strategic objectives.
• Research & Strategy: Conduct comprehensive industry and market research, and actively identify new partnership opportunities that can benefit artists and the label.
• Rights Management: Contribute to catalog and rights management efforts, helping to ensure proper administration and protection of music assets.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Music Industry, Marketing, or a related field; Student career level. This internship is specifically intended for students seeking school credit as part of an academic program.
• Experience: Demonstrated basic knowledge or experience in sales processes, particularly in supporting marketing and promotional activities. Proven project management skills, including the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
• Skills: Strong analytical and operational capabilities for managing workflows and identifying process improvements; effective communication skills for collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders; proficiency in basic office tools such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; adaptability and a proactive mindset for working both independently and in a team environment.
• Bonus: A genuine enthusiasm for the music industry and a keen interest in understanding the intricacies of label operations.
