Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern – WM | Walmart

The Tone:

This role is crucial for delivering direct patient care, supporting the pharmacy team, and contributing to community health and wellness within an energetic pharmacy environment.

• Pay: $19.50–$32.50 hourly

What You’ll Actually Do
• Confidentiality: Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records according to company, local, State, and Federal guidelines.
• Order Processing: Help with processing prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases.
• Patient Care: Deliver patient care by recognizing patient needs, assessing them, and helping navigate clinical therapies.
• Inventory Management: Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
• Experience: Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
• Skills:
• Excellent ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Capability to cater to individual patient needs.
• Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
• Ability to manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
• Bonus: Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
