What You’ll Actually Do
• Market Research: Analyze the competitive landscape for infrastructure talent development within specific industries and geographic areas.
• Positioning Strategy: Recommend how Per Scholas should position its training offerings to remain competitive for both learners and employers.
• Pricing Evaluation: Research and compare pricing models for earned revenue products to analyze Per Scholas’s value proposition against market alternatives.
• Competitor Intelligence: Gather intelligence on competitor enrollment processes, pricing, and curriculum delivery using AI-powered desktop and primary research, including “secret shopping.”
• Strategic Insights: Synthesize research findings using strong analytical skills and AI prompting to drive strategic organizational decisions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current undergraduate student with a strong interest in research, market analysis, or business strategy; alternative backgrounds are eligible if required skills have been obtained without a degree.
• Experience: Proficiency in research methodologies and data analysis, with an interest in gaining hands-on experience with competitive landscape mapping, labor market-driven training trends, and product positioning.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, self-motivation, ability to work independently, ability to utilize AI prompting to enhance research efficiency and synthesis, a strong bias toward learning and inquiry with an ability to identify the “so what?” in complex data.
