Strategy and Innovation Intern | Linden Lake Labs, Inc.

Linden Lake Labs builds a growing life sciences platform and portfolio companies, focusing on biotechnology and drug development. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain direct experience across scientific, business, and strategic initiatives. The intern will play a key part in understanding how innovative companies are built, funded, and scaled at the intersection of biotechnology, drug development, business strategy, market analysis, venture creation, innovation, partnerships, corporate development, competitive intelligence, and due diligence. This contribution will impact the future of healthcare through meaningful projects.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Technology Assessment: Conduct scientific and technology landscape assessments to identify novel advancements and competitive positioning within biotechnology and drug development.
• Market Intelligence: Perform in-depth market research and competitive analysis, informing business strategy and market understanding for new ventures.
• Commercialization Strategy: Contribute to business planning and commercialization strategy development for emerging biotechnology opportunities and drug development initiatives.
• Opportunity Evaluation: Evaluate emerging biotechnology opportunities, including venture creation, strategic partnerships, and investment initiatives, through due diligence.
• Executive Communication: Prepare comprehensive executive presentations and reports to communicate findings, recommendations, and strategic insights to senior biotech executives and entrepreneurs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Students currently pursuing an undergraduate, Master’s, MBA, MPH, MD, PhD, or other graduate degree. Applicants should have a strong academic background in life sciences, biomedical engineering, chemistry, business, finance, public health, or closely related fields.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong analytical skills for data interpretation, robust research skills for landscape and market analysis, and effective communication skills for presenting complex information.
• Bonus: Possesses a high degree of curiosity, takes initiative in project execution, and demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset.
