This is an internship at Anderson Group Public Relations, located in Los Angeles, CA. What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaboration: Work with teams of publicists to gain hands-on experience in the Los Angeles PR scene.
• Business Development: Assist with new business development by identifying and researching potential clients and drafting email outreach.
• Media Monitoring: Track client press coverage and pull media clips from various sources.
• Content Creation: Draft a range of public relations materials, including pitches, client memos, and press opportunities.
• Event Relations: Research and pitch clients to various A-list events for participation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student with a strong interest in public relations and a desire to pursue a career in the field.
• Experience: Must be able to commit to 1-4 days a week, Monday through Friday, for at least two months, with intern office hours from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. Requires immediate on-site work in the Melrose office.
• Skills: Strong writing, research, and organizational abilities; self-starter capable of working independently as well as in teams; proactive and resourceful; proficient in Microsoft Office; able to handle a fast-paced environment and take direction well.
• Bonus: An enjoyment of dogs, as the office environment includes several small dogs.
