The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles, CA. TikTok is the leading global destination for short-form mobile video, aiming to inspire creativity and bring joy to its users. This role is crucial for optimizing the TikTok advertising product experience and improving its underlying ad infrastructure. Through this hands-on experience, interns will gain a deep understanding of the advertising business, develop fundamental skills, and explore potential career paths within the company.

• Mission: Support and enhance TikTok’s advertising product experience through AI operations, product marketing, and product operations initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• AI Operations: Support AI operations, specifically focusing on input quality and preparation for AI systems.
• Data Quality: Perform data labeling for model training and conduct quality assurance checks on datasets to ensure high-quality inputs for automation solutions.
• Product Marketing: Assist Product Marketing Managers by creating external marketing materials such as decks, one-pagers, and event collateral for key product launches.
• Product Operations: Contribute to product operations and internal dogfooding programs by setting up test accounts and preparing demo campaigns.
• Client Support: Organize feedback collection and support pilot programs with key clients to boost platform ease of use.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, with a strong academic foundation in these areas.
• Experience: Proven ability to collaborate effectively across different teams in a highly cooperative environment.
• Skills: Strong logical thinking and data analysis capabilities for breaking down and solving complex problems; effective organizational, planning, and communication skills; self-motivation and responsibility to independently drive projects with reliability and simplicity.
• Bonus: A major in Computer Science or an equivalent scientific/technical field is preferred, along with availability for a full-time, 12-week internship (5 days a week) during Summer 2026.
