Marketing & Digital Media Intern – Fall 2026 | Nashville Sports Council

The Tone:
This is an internship at Nashville Sports Council, located in Nashville, TN. The Nashville Sports Council works to bring sports events to the city, including the Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl and various member events. This role is crucial for assisting the team with creating compelling digital content, managing marketing efforts across platforms, and analyzing performance to enhance engagement and grow awareness for all events. Your contributions will directly support the organization’s mission and outreach.

• Mission: Support marketing and digital media initiatives to increase engagement and awareness for the Nashville Sports Council, Music City Bowl, and partner events.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Create: Develop engaging digital content, including photography, short-form video, and graphic design for social media, especially for the Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl and member events.
• Manage: Support the development and oversight of social media calendars and platforms for the Nashville Sports Council, Music City Bowl, and partner events to drive engagement.
• Analyze: Evaluate social media and marketing campaign performance to identify successes, trends, and areas for improvement, then present actionable insights.
• Design: Craft educational and insightful presentations on social analytics, partner communications, and campaign pitches for various stakeholders.
• Communicate: Write engaging weekly newsletters for the member database to keep audiences informed and connected, and maintain website content for accuracy and optimal user experience.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current college or graduate school student seeking course credit for an unpaid internship.
• Experience: Full-time availability (40 hrs / week) Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, for the duration of the internship dates (September 14, 2026 to December 31, 2026). Must be able to receive course credit for this position.
• Skills: Proficiency in creating digital content including photography, short-form video editing, and graphic design; ability to analyze social media and marketing campaign data; competence in developing engaging written communications and presentations.
