HRIS Intern-Corporate | Albany International Corp.
The Tone:
This is an internship at Albany International Corp. Albany International Corp. is a global advanced textiles and materials processing company. The company operates two core businesses: Machine Clothing, a leading producer of custom-designed fabrics and belts for process industries, and Albany Engineered Composites (AEC), a growing supplier of highly engineered composite parts for the aerospace industry. This role is crucial for supporting key HR technology initiatives, specifically the implementation and optimization of SAP SuccessFactors modules, and for providing timely and accurate employee support through the AskHR Help Desk.

• Mission: This person solves problems related to HR system administration, configuration, and employee support by assisting with SAP SuccessFactors implementation and managing employee inquiries.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support SuccessFactors Implementation: Prepare and validate data for migration, participate in testing cycles, contribute to documentation, and help develop training materials for new module implementations.
• Manage AskHR Help Desk: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, accurately triaging, resolving, or routing cases to the appropriate HR team members with excellent customer service.
• Ensure Data Quality: Perform data entry, auditing, and routine maintenance to ensure all people data is accurate and complete within HR systems.
• Create Documentation and Reports: Develop and update process documentation and knowledge-base articles, and generate various reports, dashboards, or data extracts to support HR initiatives and leadership requests.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing process efficiency, system usability, or data workflows within HR operations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least two years of coursework completed, and a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Experience: Strong interest in HRIS and HR technology, demonstrating a proactive approach to learning new systems and processes.
• Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bonus: Previous experience with HRIS systems or SuccessFactors.
