The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, a company that builds the leading destination for short-form mobile video, inspiring creativity and bringing joy globally. This role supports the monetization product-commerce ads team, which is dedicated to helping TikTok Shop merchants and brands grow their businesses on the innovative TikTok Shop platform. As an intern, you will contribute to developing and launching advertising products that directly drive business growth for advertisers on the platform. This experience offers hands-on involvement in real-world scenarios, fostering both personal and professional growth.

• Team: Monetization product-commerce ads (closed-loop direction), working with the lead Product Manager.
• Mission: To develop, build, and launch Commerce ads products that help advertisers meet their business goals and generate business growth on TikTok Shop.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Work with the lead Product Manager to develop the roadmap, build, and launch Commerce ads products that help advertisers achieve their business goals and generate growth.
• Analyze: Define and analyze key metrics that inform product strategy and guide prioritization decisions.
• Collaborate: Partner effectively with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Sales teams to develop, test, and successfully launch new products.
• Drive: Independently drive projects with a focus on reliability and simplicity, demonstrating self-motivation and responsibility.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• Experience: Academic background in statistics, computer science, or an equivalent science/technical field, with technical experience or project work preferred; proven ability to work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment; must be able to commit to a 12-week full-time work period during Summer 2026.
• Skills: Strong logical thinking and data analysis skills, with the ability to break down, analyze, and solve complex problems; strong organizational, planning, communication, and execution skills; self-motivated and responsible.
• Bonus: Major in Computer Science or an equivalent science/technical field; able to intern for 3 months or longer; candidates available to work 5 days a week are preferred.
