The individual in this position will play a key part in ensuring projects meet regulatory standards and client objectives from start to finish.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Prepare plans for site development, roadway, utility, stormwater, and other civil infrastructure projects.
• Site Planning: Perform site grading, drainage, and erosion control design in compliance with regulations.
• Analysis: Conduct technical analyses, calculations, and cost estimates for projects.
• Permitting: Prepare and submit permit applications and coordinate with relevant regulatory agencies.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, architects, surveyors, and other engineers to achieve project objectives and deadlines.
• Review: Review construction plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and adherence to project goals.
• Support: Provide support during construction phases, including responding to RFIs, submittal reviews, and field inspections.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university, as an entry-level professional.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience providing engineering services; specification preparation and research required.
• Skills: Strong oral and written communication, ability to make public presentations, problem-solving, organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work individually and in groups.
• Bonus: EIT preferred.
