The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, with potential locations including Los Angeles, New York City, or other US offices, contributing to a global company that is the leading destination for short-form mobile video. TikTok’s core mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy, a mission extending into its commerce initiatives. The company is actively working to make TikTok the commerce channel of choice for merchants, creators, and affiliates, bringing discovery, inspiration, and joy back to shopping. This role is within the TikTok Shop US operation team, focused on delivering high-quality products and unique customer experiences, and plays a part in scaling the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt phenomenon. As an intern, you will engage in impactful short-term projects, gaining practical skills and real-world experience in a fast-paced work environment while developing a deeper understanding of your career interests in content and creator commerce.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Support the scaling of Content & Creator commerce in the US by managing campaigns, monitoring performance, and analyzing data for TikTok Shop operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Execute Campaigns: Work as a Campaign Executive to ensure e-commerce campaigns run smoothly by managing promotion settings, facilitating seller registration, and communicating with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor Performance: Track real-time project performance and conduct post-campaign evaluations to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze Livestream Data: Interpret and visualize live-streaming performance data to provide support for ongoing business monitoring and critical decision-making processes.
• Generate Reports: Develop dashboards and produce regular performance reports, highlighting key insights, trends, and opportunities for optimization within TikTok Shop operations.
• Support Operations: Provide assistance with general ad-hoc duties to support the overall operational needs of the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a directly related field, demonstrating foundational knowledge applicable to e-commerce and operations.
• Experience: Proven capability in project management, including a track record of executing tasks, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring projects progress effectively. Candidates must commit to an internship period of at least three months.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and project execution abilities; proactive and responsible, with the capability to drive tasks and manage responsibilities independently in a dynamic environment.
• Bonus: Demonstrated experience in data analysis, including the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and build reports.
