Digital Marketing Intern | TapOverdrive
The Tone:
This is an internship at TapOverdrive, located in San Jose, CA. TapOverdrive provides a SaaS-based Marketing Success Platform that specializes in marketing automation, lead generation, customer engagement, and attribution solutions, helping businesses generate leads and website traffic through performance-based marketing solutions across various channels. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, marketing technology, CRM management, customer success, and SaaS operations, supporting key initiatives within the Customer Success team.

• Mission: To support customer onboarding, digital marketing campaign operations, CRM management, and process improvements, contributing to customer success and business growth.
• Tech Stack: SaaS tools, advertising platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok, Reddit), CRM systems, marketing technologies, dashboards, reporting tools, campaign management.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Success Support: Assist the Customer Success team with onboarding new customers, managing account setups, and maintaining accurate customer records and communications within CRM systems.
• Digital Campaign Operations: Support the management, setup, quality assurance, and fulfillment of digital marketing campaigns across platforms like Google, Meta, TikTok, and Reddit, including performance tracking and optimization.
• CRM and Data Management: Work on projects focused on CRM management, data organization, process automation, and assist with reporting and dashboard maintenance using company tools.
• Operational Improvement: Help improve internal workflows, documentation, and operational processes, including data cleanup, segmentation, and customer lifecycle initiatives.
• Project Ownership: Take ownership of assigned projects and responsibilities, collaborating with various teams and contributing ideas to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student or recent graduate with an interest in digital marketing, technology, data, and customer success.
• Experience: Comfortable utilizing AI tools to optimize efficiency, improve workflows, and think creatively about solving problems and enhancing processes.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, working both independently and collaboratively.
• Bonus: Coursework or experience in Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, or a related field; Experience with dashboards, reporting tools, or project management software.
