What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting Analysis: Analyze monthly fixed income portfolio asset reports for client accounts.
• Financial Reconciliation: Submit daily and monthly asset and cash reconciliations for custodian banks.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor cash flows, daily expenses, collateral holdings, and income receivables for client portfolios.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Research and report variances and incorrect holdings, coordinating with banks to resolve account issues and ensure accurate reporting of futures, options, and swaps.
• Data Research: Utilize Bloomberg to investigate portfolio discrepancies between the firm’s records and the bank’s data.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics, with a GPA above 3.0. This is an early career role focused on back-middle office operations.
• Experience: 0-1 years of professional experience, including relevant internships.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V-Lookups and Pivot-Tables); foundational understanding of investment operations concepts such as asset reconciliation and portfolio monitoring; ability to research data using tools like Bloomberg; strong written and verbal communication.
• Bonus: Demonstrated interest in investment operations; highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team; eager to learn.
