Berluti Internship – Retail Excellence Assistant | Berluti

The Tone:
This is an internship at Berluti, located in New York. Berluti, a unique men’s Maison within the LVMH Group, has a rich heritage since 1895, excelling in footwear, leather goods, and ready-to-wear, with a presence in over 25 countries. This role is crucial for supporting and coordinating Berluti North America’s retail teams, contributing to the maximization of business performance, enhancing client experience, and executing strategies effectively across the US.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Flexible Full-time/Part-time (minimum 3 days per week)
• Location: In-person, New York
• Pay: $20–$25 hourly
• Team: Retail Excellence team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Retail Excellence
• Mission: Support and coordinate retail teams to maximize business performance through efficient operations, enhanced client experience, and strategic execution using effective tools.
• Tech Stack: Excel, PowerPoint

What You’ll Actually Do
• Retail Performance Reporting: Develop, execute, and coordinate weekly performance reports for all stores, defining and monitoring KPIs to track retail performance.
• Operational Support & Coordination: Provide daily operational support to retail teams and coordinate regional store projects like openings, relocations, and closures.
• Training Program Management: Develop and implement tools to monitor the rollout and adoption of training programs, tracking effectiveness and reporting on their impact on sales and operations.
• Strategic Project Assistance: Support strategic projects across the region, including omnichannel, e-commerce optimization, and client services, ensuring effective implementation.
• IT Liaison: Act as the primary contact between the Senior Manager of Retail Excellence and the central IT team for IT-related projects and issues.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student (undergraduate or graduate level)
• Experience: No specific years required; hands-on retail management experience is a plus.
• Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities; excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills; advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Proficiency in French is a plus; knowledge of PowerBI is a plus.
