Clinical Training Intern | TimelyCare

The Tone:
This is an internship / early career role at TimelyCare, located remotely across the country. TimelyCare is a clinically accountable virtual care provider built specifically for education, trusted by nearly 500 campuses across the U.S. The company combines URAC-accredited clinical standards with a measurement-based approach to champion well-being through a comprehensive range of services including mental health counseling, medical care, and wellness tools. This role matters because it supports the Clinical Research and Training team, contributing to the coordination of continuing education programs, development of clinical training, outcomes evaluation, and applied research activities.

• Team: Clinical Research and Training team, reporting to the Director of Clinical Research and Training.
• Mission: Coordinate continuing education programs, develop clinical training content, evaluate outcomes, and conduct applied research to support TimelyCare’s clinical standards and impact.
• Tech Stack: TalentLMS, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, data analysis tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordination: Support the coordination of TimelyCare’s APA- and ASWB-sponsored Continuing Education program, including analyzing data for high-impact topics, coordinating speaker logistics, and evaluating success metrics.
• Development: Assist with clinical content development and evidence-based training resource creation for TimelyCare’s K-12 service line.
• Reorganization: Analyze, edit, and reformat existing clinical training materials to align with evolving service packages and operational workflows.
• Scalability: Support the modularization of existing training content and its migration into learning management platforms such as TalentLMS.
• Collaboration: Participate in team meetings, strategic planning discussions, and professional development opportunities to support team objectives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in or recently completed a doctoral program (PhD, PsyD, or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Health, Public Health, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3+ years of experience conducting clinical research, program evaluation, clinical service delivery, or related academic work through graduate education, internships, practicum placements, or professional roles.
• Skills: Strong written communication skills, excellent organizational and project management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data analysis tools.
• Bonus: Attained a masters-level clinical degree, or experience working with pediatric, adolescent, or young adult populations.
