The Tone:
This is an internship at Zetheta Algorithms, a FinTech start-up that develops AI tools. The company was recently established and focuses on creating cutting-edge AI technologies for innovative solutions. This role provides an extraordinary opportunity for a self-driven student to develop AI models from scratch within a two-month timeframe. You will be responsible for building a complete enterprise-grade system that incorporates deep learning and other advanced AI concepts.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Design and implement complete AI models and create AI modules based on provided specifications.
• Build: Develop both frontend and backend components of the platform.
• Manage Data: Design and optimize database schema and queries, with a focus on securing sensitive identity verification data.
• Deploy: Deploy the complete solution using zero-cost cloud services.
• Document: Document code, APIs, and system architecture, ensuring project completion within the two-month timeframe.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing or a fresh graduate who has recently completed a degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field, though students from any academic discipline with strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience: No prior professional experience required. Must demonstrate self-motivation, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to self-learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Skills: Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript. Understanding of React.js for frontend development and Node.js for backend. Knowledge of FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks. Familiarity with database design and SQL, particularly PostgreSQL with Supabase. Deployment on AWS with CI/CD pipelines, EC2, and S3. Understanding of basic machine learning concepts.
• Bonus: Sound knowledge of AI/ML libraries including TensorFlow, Keras, and HuggingFace Transformers. Familiarity with computer vision techniques using OpenCV. Knowledge of natural language processing concepts. Sound knowledge of facial recognition, emotion detection, or identity verification systems. Docker containerization experience. Prior work with cloud deployment on AWS.
