Software Developer Intern | Trihydro Corporation

The Tone:
This is an internship at Trihydro Corporation, located in Fort Collins, CO. This role is focused on supporting the company’s existing software applications by resolving bugs and implementing new features within a Microsoft technology stack. The intern will play a key part in ensuring the stability and evolution of critical software, contributing to both maintenance and new development efforts. This position offers a foundational experience in enterprise software development within a collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Software Maintenance: Maintain and enhance existing software applications, with a primary focus on resolving identified bugs within .NET Core MVC applications.
• Feature Development: Implement new features in .NET Core MVC applications, leveraging a Microsoft technology stack including C#, .NET Core, and JavaScript.
• System Support: Support application integrations, troubleshooting issues related to REST APIs and SQL Server-backed databases.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of implemented changes and contribute to documentation and configuration updates.
• Cloud Solutions: Contribute to the development and support of cloud-hosted solutions using tools and technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Docker, and GitHub Copilot.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an IT-related field (junior, senior, or graduate student).
• Experience: No specific years required, but relevant software development experience is preferred.
• Skills: C#, .NET Core, REST APIs, JavaScript, SQL Server, debugging, testing, version control, secure coding practices.
• Bonus: Relevant software development experience.
