DevOps Engineering Intern | Stealth Startup

This startup is seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to contribute to its foundational infrastructure, ensuring modern cloud practices are implemented and maintained. The role is critical for developing a robust and scalable technical environment, providing interns with real-world exposure to US industry standards and expert mentorship.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Assist in building, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based applications.
• Automate: Learn and support Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline implementation and automation processes.
• Provision: Support infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and work with containerization and orchestration tools.
• Monitor: Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, and participate in troubleshooting deployment and environment issues.
• Document: Maintain technical documentation following US professional standards and collaborate with development and operations teams.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Familiarity with Git or version control concepts; basic understanding of Linux commands and networking fundamentals; strong willingness to learn DevOps practices.
• Skills: Programming or scripting (Python/Bash preferred); good analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communication skills.
• Bonus: Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP); exposure to Docker or CI/CD concepts; understanding of Agile methodologies.
