Summer Intern | Venture Starters
The Tone:
This is a certificate-based, remote internship at Venture Starters, a public service platform designed to support startups in solving global problems by connecting them with resources, including interns and investors. As a key part of the Venture Starters Startup Intern Program, this role provides an unparalleled insider’s view of the startup ecosystem, allowing individuals to gain real exposure to founders, investors, and the dynamic process of startup development. It offers a unique opportunity to understand how ideas evolve into funded companies and to potentially connect with early-stage teams, all without interrupting current academic or professional commitments.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Attend: Participate in eight (8) Venture Starters Free Pitch Zoom meetings, totaling 16 hours, over a flexible 3–6 month period, fitting your personal schedule.
• Observe: Watch startup founders as they pitch their real companies to a community of investors, advisors, and potential team members.
• Learn: Gain first-hand exposure to what investors look for, how early-stage teams form, and how ideas progress into funded startups.
• Connect: Identify and potentially engage with startups during the meetings to explore separate internship opportunities they may offer.
• Receive: Earn a Certificate of Completion upon attending all eight sessions, qualifying you to list Venture Starters as an internship on your résumé and LinkedIn.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Interest in startups, entrepreneurship, or venture capital.
• Experience: No prior experience required; comfortable working independently and remotely.
• Skills: Able to attend and focus during 2-hour Zoom sessions.
• Bonus: Experience with events or communities is a plus, but not required.
